Hot Aisle Inc. was founded by Jon Stevens and Clint Armstrong in October 2023. Both of us are technical experts with years of experience deploying large-scale compute across multiple data centers. We come from open-source backgrounds and prioritize ethics, transparency, and honesty in our business dealings.

After months of considering names for the company, Jon thought about common terms in a data center and came up with "Hot Aisle." While "Cold Aisle" was another obvious choice, he felt that "Hot Aisle" better represents the high-performance compute services we offer.
