This achievement validates the strength of our internal controls and processes for handling customer data. With Type 2 already in motion and expected in three months, we’re on track to meet the highest standards in cloud infrastructure security. We’re excited to announce that Hot Aisle has officially completed our SOC 2 Type 1 audit. This marks a major milestone in our journey to build a trusted, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure platform.
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is a widely recognized standard developed by the AICPA for evaluating a service provider’s ability to securely manage customer data. The Type 1 audit specifically evaluates the design of our internal controls as of a single point in time.
For us, this isn’t just a checkbox. It’s proof that we’ve built strong processes from day one, designed to protect our customers’ data, ensure operational integrity, and meet the rigorous standards of enterprise and regulated industries.
What’s Next?
SOC 2 Type 2 is already underway and on track for completion within the next three months. While Type 1 demonstrates that controls exist, Type 2 validates that those controls are operating effectively over time. We’re confident in our systems and look forward to achieving this next milestone.
