Hot Aisle Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance: A Milestone in Security and Trust
At Hot Aisle, transparency, trust, and reliability are core to everything we build. Today, we’re proud to announce that we have successfully completed SOC 2 Type 2 compliance—a major milestone in our commitment to providing the most secure, dependable, and developer-first cloud experience.
Our journey toward full SOC 2 compliance began with achieving SOC 2 Type 1, which validated that we had the right security and operational controls designed and in place. Type 1 was an important first step—it proved our commitment to building a secure foundation for customers and set the stage for the Type 2 audit. With that groundwork established, we were able to demonstrate not just that our controls exist, but that we consistently operate them over time—culminating in today’s Type 2 milestone.
What This Means
SOC 2 Type 2 is the standard for demonstrating that a company not only has the right security and operational controls in place but also operates those controls consistently over time. This rigorous, independent audit proves that Hot Aisle meets the highest standards for safeguarding data, ensuring privacy, and maintaining resilience.
Why It Matters for Developers and Enterprises
AI workloads demand uncompromising performance and uncompromising trust. By completing SOC 2 Type 2, Hot Aisle offers both:
Secure access to AMD MI300x clusters running on enterprise-grade Dell hardware.
Peace of mind for enterprises and developers who need compliance assurances.
Operational excellence validated by third-party auditors.
A Step Forward in Our Mission
From the beginning, our mission has been to democratize access to advanced compute. With SOC 2 Type 2 certification, we strengthen our ability to serve both the scrappy developer spinning up their first VM and the enterprise running mission-critical AI workloads.
This milestone reflects our belief that building the future of compute requires not just speed and scale—but security, accountability, and trust.
Hot Aisle has officially completed its SOC 2 Type 1 audit, marking a key milestone in our commitment to security and compliance. This achievement validates the strength of our internal controls and processes for handling customer data. With Type 2 already in motion and expected in three months, we’re on track to meet the highest standards in cloud infrastructure security. Special thanks to Sprinto and ATOM for their guidance and support throughout the process.
Hot Aisle is teaming up with Red Hat’s Neural Magic and AMD to accelerate the future of open AI infrastructure. This collaboration showcases how high-performance inference on AMD MI300x hardware, powered by vLLM and sparse model optimization, can thrive outside of proprietary hyperscaler stacks. By providing bare-metal access and real-world benchmarking support, Hot Aisle enables faster iteration, deeper optimization, and meaningful upstream contributions, all in service of decentralizing and democratizing compute for developers, enterprises, and the broader open-source community.
